For those of you that were at our camps last year, you had a chance to run with Austin (AJ) and listen to him speak about his goals and training. SInce then, he has completed a 2:25 marathon in Chicago. He has ran personal bests in the 10K and 15K with times of 30:28 and 46:49. He was the overall winner of the Gasparilla Distance Classic 15K. WARR10R Running Camp
When I first got to Warrior Running Camp in Babson Park, Florida, I was extremely nervous. I had never been to sleep away camp before, and neither had my two best friends, Rachel and Lauren. At least we were together and all got to share a dorm room at Webber International University where the camp was held. Plus, my mom got to go and she was across the hall which made things a little easier for me (and as an added bonus, she could drive us to Subway when we got tired of the college cafeteria food!!)
WARR10R™ had a chance to speak with Sarah McCain from Webber International University (Babson Park, Florida.) She attended our WARR10R™ Running Camp at Berry College (Mt. Berry, Georgia) in 2008 and was a junior staff member at our WARR10R™ Running Camp at Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida this past summer.
